GigBill — Privacy Policy
Zerqon never collects, receives, transmits, or sells your data. No analytics, no tracking, no servers — nothing about you is ever sent to us. Your invoices live on your device and are included in your own iPhone's backup, so they're recoverable through iCloud under your Apple ID — privately, never through us. The details below describe exactly what that means.
Overview
GigBill ("we," "our," or "the app") is an invoice tool for freelance technicians and crew across live events, film, and broadcast. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data GigBill collects and how it is used.
Data Collection
GigBill stores all invoice data, job information, client details, and personal profile information locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers.
We do not use analytics, tracking, cookies, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect your name, email, location, or any personally identifiable information.
Data You Enter
The information you enter into GigBill — including your name, address, email, company contacts, job details, and invoice amounts — is stored on your iPhone or iPad using on-device storage. It is never sent to Zerqon. It leaves your device only in two ways: when you explicitly choose to share it (for example, by emailing an invoice), and as part of your own iPhone's standard backup (see Backups & iCloud below).
When you use GigBill to send an invoice via email, the app opens your device's native email client (Apple Mail or the iOS share sheet). GigBill does not send emails through its own servers. The email is sent through your personal email account.
Backups & iCloud
Your invoices are stored on your device and are included in your iPhone or iPad's normal backup. If you back up your device to iCloud, your invoices are backed up too — so if you lose, replace, or restore your device, you can recover them from your iCloud backup.
This backup belongs to you, not to us. It is stored in your personal iCloud account under your own Apple ID and is encrypted by Apple. Zerqon has no access to it, receives nothing from it, and is never involved. Letting your own iCloud backup include your invoices is entirely separate from Zerqon collecting or transmitting your data — which we never do. If you prefer not to include GigBill in your iCloud backup, you can manage that in your device's iCloud settings.
Third-Party Services
GigBill does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. If you subscribe to GigBill, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not process or store payment information.
Data Security
Your data is protected by the security features built into iOS, including device encryption and app sandboxing. We do not have access to your data at any time.
Children's Privacy
GigBill is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
